Michael Robinson, ND, MS, CNS, CFMP
Dr. Michael Robinson is an expert in natural and functional medicine and has been working in natural healthcare for the last 10 years with a focus autoimmune diseases and unexplained symptoms. He has worked alongside Medical Doctors, Chiropractors, Naturopathic Physicians, Acupuncturists and Behavioral Optometrists seeking to bring health to those without answers to their health concerns. While initially enrolled in a Pre-Pharmacy program, he saw his mother go through 10 years of chronic pain and medications as she was shuffled around to 28 different doctors and practitioners without relief. It wasn’t until she saw a Naturopathic Physician that within 6 months, her pain and medication usage had reduced by 90%. This sent Michael down a new journey to learn about everything Natural Medicine had to offer. He switched his pharmacy major to a Health Science degree, and never turned back. While in his primary care internship, he would continually see patients with autoimmune disease be dismissed by the conventional medical community, which was a shock as he was having so much success reducing their symptoms and improving their health with natural medicine. Michael has sworn to always use food first and support the body rather than suppress the symptoms with medication, and support those with autoimmune diseases that have felt like they are not getting complete answers in the conventional medical system. Now practicing as a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, Michael uses food as medicine everyday to prevent disease and keep his clients functioning at optimal health. Michael completed his internship in primary care family medicine and is awaiting licensure as a Dietetic Nutritionist in the state of IL in 2019
