Our Approach
Contemporary Medicine was established in November 1999 in Burr Ridge, IL, a southern suburb of Chicago. Dr. Ayre is a solo physician at this practice and administers all treatments himself.The comfort and ease of our patients is a priority and many patients have commented on the very home-like atmosphere.
Allopathic medicine is just one part of a larger program called Comprehensive Cancer Care which consists of three parts:
- Something to Treat the Tumor: For this, we use chemotherapy administered via the technique of Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT).
- Nutritional Biochemistry: Diet, Supplementation, and Detoxification strategies
- Mind/Body Medicine: A powerful, effective combination of research based healing therapies to help manage the life change and stress associated with illness. These therapies might include anything from prayer and affirmations to deep breathing and meditation.
